Well when we say local, we mean LOCAL! Learn more about the Duxbury oysters you enjoy from the owner of Powder Point Oysters himself.

We spoke with our good friend, Mike George, who gave us great insight and a deep appreciation for oyster farming. Mike himself started farming in 2002 as one of the “OG’s” on the bay before making the decision to sell oysters on his own in 2011. With a goal of establishing a direct connection to the consumer, Mike had a belief in “one farm, one oyster,” that allowed him to create and maintain standards truly setting him apart from other wholesale companies that sell oysters.

When serving these tasty appetizers, it is important to ensure quality product; this is why we work with Mike at Powder Point who consistently presents us with delicious and fresh oysters.
